Front cover of The Amazons' 21st Century Fiction: Epilogue - the deluxe version of their 4th album, complete with 8-new tracks, handwritten lyrics and photos by Jess Greaves (IG: @jesstookthese).
The principle idea behind this project was to put a spotlight on the new lineup for the band. The new vocalist, Ella McRobb, and new drummer, George Le Page, were officially introduced into the band in mid-2026, bringing a completely renewed energy and dynamic to The Amazons. Although officially being introduced in mid-2026, George & Ella were an integral part of the creation of 21st Century Fiction (they were even featured on the original front cover) and therefore can now be properly celebrated for their contributions.
Every decision that was made during the conception of this packaging design was aimed at focussing on introducing our two new members whilst offering a completely new and alternative design for  fans of the original release of 21CF.
Here, really, is the birthplace of the design for 21st Century Fiction: Epilogue. Inspired by the collages of Peter Beard - specifically a small photobook of his I stumbled across in a bookshop - Matt & Jess took a day printing, chopping, tearing and scribbling to create the textures & collages that have become the visual identity of 'Epilogue'.
Each layer of the packaging of the design zooms in on every member of the now-5-piece band: starting with portraits on the cover and inside sleeve, mid-closeups on the vinyl sleeves, and ultra-closeups of the eyes of four of the band members.
